One of the missions of the upcoming J Turner Research Summit is to position our attendees to be innovators.
That’s why we’re so excited to have one of the most innovative minds to work in multifamily sharing his insights exclusively with J Turner Research Summit attendees.
Eric Potter, manager of strategy and transformation for MorganFranklin Consulting, will host the “Innovation Snapshot” session from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
In this session, Potter will draw on his vast experience to discuss how apartment companies can not only foster a culture of innovation but, more importantly, how to put that innovation into action. By making these ideas reality, Potter will share how apartment companies can differentiate themselves from the pack, deliver greater resident experiences and optimize operations.
And trust us, he knows what he is talking about. Potter was an executive at Waterton, a private equity investor with $4.6 billion of multifamily and hotel assets under management, for eight years. From 2015 to 2018, he served as company’s director of innovation. In this position, he led and championed the strategic innovation process, developing methods and tools for idea generation and change management. Eric’s focus here was on innovation and problem solving the challenges in the industry. His group helped recruit talented entrepreneurs and helped startups who were focused on solving industry challenges to raise venture money.
Potter was also a member of Elmspring Accelerator’s board of directors. Elmspring was a seed-stage real estate technology accelerator that supported start-up companies with a comprehensive network of resources and enterprise development tools.
In his current role at MorganFranklin, Potter – who also serves in the US Army Reserve at US Cyber Command – helps organizations of all sizes develop and execute strategies to improve, innovate and grow.
