In partnership with Multifamily Executive, J Turner Research releases the 2026 State ORA® Power Ranking, recognizing the top apartment properties in all 50 states and the District of Columbia based on ORA score. The ranking also highlights the average ORA score in each state and the management companies with the strongest portfolio representation. To qualify, a property must have an ORA score of 75 or higher and at least 20 online reviews as of September 2026. For properties with the same ORA score, ties are broken by decimal precision and then total review count, unless the approved annual methodology specifies otherwise.
Disclaimer: To be eligible for the state ranking, a property must register an ORA score of 75 or higher with a minimum of 20 online reviews as of September 2026. For properties with the same ORA score, the property with a higher number of reviews ranks higher.
