Session Highlights the Value of Ongoing Prospect and Resident Feedback

HOUSTON, March 25, 2009 – J Turner Research, a leading marketing research firm exclusively serving the multifamily industry, today announces president, Joseph Batdorf, will speak at the 2009 National Apartment Association (NAA) Education Conference, June 25-27, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Batdorf will co-present “Measuring Customer Service and Managing Your Reputation in a High Speed World” with John Selindh, vice president of marketing for Camden. Attendees will learn the value of continually measuring customer service through a survey program and tactics to boost resident satisfaction levels among prospective and current residents.

The presentation will explore the value of prospect and resident feedback. Specifically, Batdorf will explain how to initiate an ongoing survey program with a third-party research firm and detail how the received data can be used to improve operations. Offering insight on customer service benchmarks and real-life examples, Selindh will describe how Camden, a Houston-based multifamily owner and management firm, incorporates its survey results to increase occupancy and NOI at its properties.

Camden implemented J Turner Research surveys at 170 of its properties in November 2006. The first objective was to identify community attributes prospects were interested in compared to Camden’s competition. Camden was also interested in gathering information regarding the level of customer service its leasing representatives were providing. Collecting this feedback enables Camden to make strategic decisions regarding the company’s marketing message and customer service initiatives.
